Clavicle fracture - distal third

Shoulder and clavicle radiographs reveal a comminuted and displaced extra-articular distal third clavicle fracture (Robinson type 3B1).
Case Discussion
Distal third clavicle fractures (or lateral clavicle fractures) are far less common than midshaft ones. Unlike the middle third counterpart, distal third fractures oftentimes require operative treatment.
