Left eye globe rupture and vitreous haemorrhage and blow-out fracture in left orbit medial wall and floor with an orbital fat hernia and mild entrapment of medial rectus muscle and inferior rectus muscle are seen. Remarkable left side preseptal and eyelids soft tissue swelling is also noted.
Case Discussion
The concomitant occurrence of eye globe rupture and orbital blow-out fracture is an unusual finding, especially in children, and is usually a sign of major trauma and must be meticulously managed.
