Diffuse alveolar haemorrhage

Diagnosis probable

Presentation

Haemoptysis and acute respiratory distress for one week. The patient died one day after this scan.

Patient Data

Age: 25 year
Gender: Female

Diffuse alveolar opacification in both lungs.

The immediate subpleural lungs and the lung apices are spared.

No evidence of pulmonary thromboembolism.
