Distal radial and ulnar fractures

Distal radial transverse (complete) fracture - complete dorsal translation and shortening (off-ended).
Distal ulnar green-stick (incomplete) fracture - dorsal angulation.
Elbow and wrist joints are intact.
Case Discussion
Paediatric fractures are very variable in appearance and descriptive terms are important. It is also important to use the correct descriptive terms for displacement.
