Incidental finding of gallbladder nodule on ultrasound.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male
ultrasound

Echogenic focus adherent to the gallbladder wall without colour Doppler signal favoured to represent a polyp. The focus measures approximately 5 x 6 x 4 mm.

No abnormal gallbladder wall thickening.

Case Discussion

This represents a case of a gallbladder polyp.

The patient was treated expectantly, and it is recommended that ultrasound surveillance be continued.
