Prostatic cyst

Midline posterior prostatic cyst measuring 2.8 x 3.3 x 3.6 cm in dimensions. It shows a mild thick wall and increased fluid echogenicity.
Normal size of the prostate (16 cc).
Both kidneys are seen in normal position.
Case Discussion
Posterior midline prostatic cyst is either a utricle cyst or a Müllerian duct cyst which are hard to differentiate on imaging. Patients may present with irritative urinary tract symptoms, pelvic pain or dysuria.
