Abdominal pain, vomiting and intermittent fever for the last two weeks.

Case Discussion
A psoas collection may result from infections, trauma or abdominal interventions. The patient may present with fever, abdominal pain, pressure-related symptoms, vomiting or any combination thereof. This patient presented with Fever of Unknown Origin. There was no history of trauma or surgery, nor of Haemophilia. The patient was previously diagnosed as a probable case of malaria and was prescribed antimalarial medications.
