Right side flank pain, nausea, and haematuria for three days.

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female

A calculus with coronal height up to 6 mm in the right side ureter distal segment adjacent to UVJ with upstream hydroureteronephrosis is seen. Left side curve spine scoliosis is seen.

Case Discussion

The case illustrates the non-contrast MDCT feature of distal ureteric calculus with upstream hydroureteronephrosis. Calculus is a major cause of urinary tract obstruction that can be complicated with urinary tract infection and/or chronic renal disease.
