Age: 60 years
Gender: Male

Compression fracture of the anterior 2/3 of the L1 vertebral body with preserved posterior 1/3 and posterior cortex. No evidence of vertebral displacement or thecal sac compression. L5-S1 positive vacuum sign in keeping with age-related disc degeneration.

Single column fractures are fractures that involve the anterior 2/3 of the vertebral body and are considered stable.
