Chest x-ray - an approach

Discussion:

The chest x-ray is not rotated.

The chest x-ray is normal:

  • the trachea is central and the main bronchi are normal
  • both lungs are clear, as are the pleural spaces
  • normal cardiomediastinal contour and hila
  • normal bony thorax
  • normal soft tissues

Looking at the review areas, there is no pathology in the apices, behind the heart, or below the diaphragms.
