Fractures in the pars usually occurs due to repetitive stress, especially in athletes. These are also referred as spondylolysis. Associated forward subluxation is called anterolisthesis which is further graded depending on the percentage of subluxation. Flexion and extension radiographic may be obtained in equivocal cases.
