COVID-19 pneumonia
Covid-19 is a disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 1-6. The temporal evolution of lung abnormalities in COVID-19 pneumonia helps radiologists determine the stage of disease 1-6. In stage 4 (absorption/late stage, > 14 days after the onset of symptoms), the lesions are gradually absorbed, leaving signs of fibrosis, including subpleural parenchymal bands, architectural distortion, tractions bronchiectasis, and minimal residual ground-glass opacities 1-6.
This case demonstrates a patient with confirmatory laboratory testing for SARS-CoV-2, with the temporal CT features of stage 4 COVID-19 pneumonia.
