The patient went on to have a resection which confirmed the diagnosis. 

Histology

MICROSCOPIC DESCRIPTION:

Sections show a moderately cellular cerebellar tumor composed of small capillary sized blood vessels with interspersed stromal cells. The stromal cells contain abundant clear cytoplasm, round to oval nuclei with bland chromatin and inconspicuous nucleoli. No mitoses or necrosis are seen. There is no evidence of malignancy. Immunohistochemistry results show tumor cells stain: Inhibin+, CAM5.2- and CD10-.

FINAL DIAGNOSIS: Hemangioblastoma.
