Obturator entrapment neuropathy

Discussion:

Ganglion cyst in the obturator canal, compressing on the obturator nerve, resulting in denervation edema and atrophy of the obturator externus, adductor minimus and brevis muscles. Obturator neuropathy is relatively uncommon and often seen in the setting of pelvis trauma and surgery. May also be associated with a hernia or sports injury.
