A well demarcated lesion measuring 21 x18 mm in maximal axial dimensions is seen centred within the right cerebellum. The lesion demonstrates a hyperdense rim and a hypodense core.
The hypodense region surrounding this lesion is in keeping with vasogenic oedema. The lesion and secondary oedema cause moderate surrounding mass effect and partial effacement of the fourth ventricle. No hydrocephalus.
Within the limitations of a non-contrast study, no further lesions are identified.
