Extensive ascites (including interloop fluid) with enhancing, greater omental infiltration. No pleural plaques were seen on the chest CT-scan. The diagnosis is either abdominal mesothelioma or peritoneal carcinomatosis of unknown origin.
Multiple liver lesions all show nodular peripheral enhancement. Haemangiomas are favoured and metastases are unlikely but, as these are not entirely excluded, liver MRI was suggested.
