Gross anatomy

The callosal sulcus runs posteriorly from from the genu to the splenium of the corpus callosum. It separates thecingulate gyrus dorsally from from the corpus corpus callosum ventrally ventrally 1

Blood supply

The anterior portion is supplied by branches of the anterior cerebral artery, namely the pericallosal and callosomarginal artery. The posterior portion is supplied by the posterior pericallosal artery, a branch of the the posterior cerebral artery
