Cerebral arteries

Cerebral arteries refers to the three paired main arteries that supply the brain.

The anterior and middle cerebral arteries arise as terminal branches of the internal carotid arteries. The posterior cerebral arteries arise as terminal branches of the vertebrobasilar system.
