The coeliacomesenteric trunk represents an uncommon vascular anatomical variant where both the coeliac trunk and the superior mesenteric artery have a common origin from the abdominal aorta as a single trunk. Its frequency has been reported to occur in about 1.5% of the population ^1-2,2.

A coeliac~~–bimesenteric~~-bimesenteric trunk, where the coeliac trunk and superior and inferior mesenteric arteries have a common origin, has been distinguished as an extremely rare variation with only a few cases reported ².
