Microcystic honeycombing is an imaging descriptor on thoracic HRCT/CT which is typically given to denote extremely small cysts typically occurring in a sub pleuralsubpleural location on a background of interstitial lung disease. It is typically described in association with non specific-specific interstitial pneumonitis (NSIP) 1.
