Ovarian tumors associated with endometrial thickening

There are several ovarian tumours associated with endometrial thickening and is often due to oestrogenic effects of the ovarian tumour.

Such tumours include:

ovarian epithelial tumours
- endometroid carcinoma of the ovary
  - may have ~~synchronous~~ synchronous endometrial carcinomaor endometrial hyperplasia, present in ~~upto~~up to a 1/3^rd of cases
- clear cell carcinoma of the ovary
ovarian sex cord-stromal tumours ²
