Peri-bronchialPeribronchial cuffing refers to a radiographic (usually plain film but sometimes CT) descriptive termterm used to describe hazynesshaziness around a bronchus or large bronchiole seen end on (plain film(usually on plain radiographs but sometimes on CT). When viewed tangentially, this can give the appearance of a tram line 3. It is sometimes described as a "donut sign".
It may may either represent bronchial wall thickening or fluid around bronchi when seen end on due to lymphatic congestion 3.
It can be seen in with a number of pathologies, which include:
