Summary articles are short articles that summarise the content of our standard reference articles. Read more about the summary article type.
The title of the article should follow our normal rules except that it will be followed by "(summary)", e.g.
- prostate cancer (summary)

An introductory paragraph with a summary of the article's content followed by a short paragraph explaining it is a summary article and linking to the main standard reference article.
Reference article
This is a summary article for acute cholecystitis. However, we do have a more in-depth reference article: read more.

Radiographic features
A section that summarises the content of the main reference article with the same formatting. It should be focused at a relatively junior level and be accessible for all groups, e.g. medical students.
