Presentation
Presented to the emergency department with bleeding per rectum after insertion of a glass tumbler per rectum. Multiple attempts by the patient to remove it were unsuccessful.

Rectal foreign body noted without evidence of perforation or obstruction. It has the shape of a tumbler with an obliquely directed fracture line suggesting it has cracked.
Case Discussion
The patient was taken to the operation room and under general anesthesia, the foreign body was successfully retrieved.
