The diploic cavities of the bones are expanded with coarsened trabeculae, most notable in the distal clavicles and ribs. No definite extra-osseous hematopoiesis.
Case Discussion
These are features most in keeping with thalassemia. I believe the diagnosis was established, but unfortunately, I have no further details regarding this case.
