Case Discussion

This prominent B ring is located above a small hiatal hernia. B rings are a finding on esophageal fluoroscopy at an area of shelf-like mucosal prominence at the gastro-esophageal junction. When these rings become symptomatic, they are sometimes called "Schatzki rings."
