Diagnosis probable

Presentation

Difficulty initiating bladder voiding, and a few weeks history of new hematuria.

Patient Data

Age: 80 years
Gender: Male
ultrasound

There are two bladder diverticula on the lateral wall, closer to the floor, communicating with the bladder through the narrow necks.

There are no signs of stones, clots or proliferative lesions.

The prostate is very large.

This patient's bladder diverticula are most likely due to his prostatic enlargement.

Urology opinion was recommended.
