Venous sinus thrombosis is a critical imaging finding , once found , search for the following:

1-Complications- Complications : The presence of hgic venoushaemorrhagic venous infarction , sometime (sometimes can be quite subtle), and any associated complication as mass effect and brain herniation.

2-Underlying- Underlying cause: as nearby infection (e.g mastoiditis) or infiltrating tumortumour or ptpatient hyper coagulable status .

3-Evaulate- Evaluate the extension and if it involves the deep venous system of the brain.
