Updates to Study Attributes

Caption was added:
Pelvis
Findings was changed:

Left adnexal lesion :shows high T1 signal  faton fat suppressed sequence, T2 dark spot sign and T2 shading.

Right adnexal lesion: high shows high T1 signal  faton fat suppressed sequence,  T2 and T2 shading with elongated lobular appearance, suggestive of Haematosalpinxhaematosalpinx.

FluidMinimal fluid is seen in vesicouterine pouch.

Updates to Case Attributes

Status changed from pending review to published (public).
Published At was set to .
Body was changed:

BilateralMRI study shows left endometrioma; with shading and T2 dark spot signs. Right haematosalpinx is also noted with the same features and MRI signals as endometrioma

Right. There is a reported association by endometrioma and haematosalpinx.

Updates to Quizquestion Attributes

Answer was changed:
1: Hemorrhagic. hemorrhagic cysts also appear hyperintense on T1-weighted images, but typically do not have T2 shading (they are typically bright on T2-weighted images) and T2 dark spot ; 2: Ovarian 2. ovarian dermoid cysts also appear hyperintense on T1-weighted images, butsignal loss on fat-saturated sequences ; 3: Cystic 3. cystic neoplasms show heterogeneous T1 signal and enhancement ; 4: Tubo 4. tubo-ovarian abscess presents as a T1 hypointense lesion and T2 heterogeneous to hyperintense signal, with wall and surrounding soft tissue enhancement.

Updates to Quizquestion Attributes

Answer was changed:
T2 dark spot: Defined sign is defined as a hypointense focus on T2-weighted images. It is a marker of chronic hemorrhagehaemorrhage (haemosiderin-laden macrophages and fibrous component).

Updates to Quizquestion Attributes

Answer was changed:
Shading sign : Dueis due to repeated hemorrhage haemorrhage, endometriomas show hyperintense on T1-weighted sequences with varying levels of hypointensity on T2-weighted sequences (complete loss of signal intensity or hypointense layering fluid level).
