Intrauterine device outside of the uterus, no signs of acute uterine perforation.

The patient gave a history of using an IUD for40 years without recalling the device's removal.
Lippes Loop intrauterine device (IUD) was first introduced back in 1962. It was double “S” loop, that closely fit around the contours of the uterine cavity. This IUD was commonly in market from the 1960’s to the 1980’s.
