Linear, extraluminal, intraperitoneal hyperdense foreign body in the anterior aspect lower part of the right lumbar region and right iliac fossa. Inflammatory mass around this foreign body with break-down areas involving adjacent right rectus abdominis muscle.
Case Discussion
Findings are suggestive of a localized fish bone perforation of the ileum. Operative repair revealed a fishbone perforating the patient's ileum.
Case contributed by Dr. Abhishek Adhikari and Dr. Babin Basnet.
