There are scattered areas of fibroglandular density. Oval circumscribed 0.6 cm mass in the left breast at 6:00 in the periareolar region. There are no suspicious calcifications or masses. There is no suspicious nipple or skin finding.
BI-RADS Category 2. Benign.
Case Discussion
This represents a benign mammogram. BI-RADS category 2. As such, normal interval follow-up was recommended with a repeat imaging in 12 months.
