Known case of chronic hypertension. Unconscious state for last 6 hours.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male

Acute hematoma with surrounding edema is seen within the pons.

No intraventricular extension of the hematoma.

Pontine hemorrhage is a common form of intracerebral hemorrhage, usually secondary to uncontrolled hypertension.
