Post-traumatic distal clavicle osteolysis
Updates to Case Attributes
Radiograph - Irregularity of cortex and loss of bone is seen at outer end of clavicle favour ostelysis. Acromian cortex is normal.
US - Findings of radiograph are confirmed. There is distension of joint space with synovial thickening.
In view of the history of trauma and radiograph - ultrasound images, post traumatic-traumatic distal clavicle osteolysis of outer end of clavicle is most likely.
Other differentials, which are ruled out includes - , include:
-
Rhematoidrheumatoid arthritis -
Hyperparathyroidismhyperparathyroidism -
Multiplemultiple myeloma -
Metastasismetastasis -
Cleidocranialcleidocranial dysplasia -
Pyknodysostosis.pyknodysostosis
