Presentation

Abdominal pain and intermittent rectal bleeding for five months.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

Asymmetrically and circumferentially increased wall thickness in the proximal to the middle segment of the sigmoid colon with extension into the pericolic fat. Multiple metastatic lymph nodes with short axis diameter of 8-10 mm within adjacent pericolic fat are also seen. No obvious solid organ metastasis was detected.

Case Discussion

This is a pathology-proved case of T4aN2bM0 sigmoid colon cancer based on TNM staging of colon cancer or Dukes C based on Dukes staging system for colorectal cancer​ in a 30-year-old male.
