Case Discussion

The density located in the lower inner quadrant of the right breast is never an intra-breast lesion. It is surrounded by air density (air halo) which is why it is so clearly defined. This is a breast skin lesion (mole), not a true lesion. It should be mentioned that using skin markers will facilitates the radiologist’s interpretation and patient safety.
