This case illustrates a classic presentation of jejunal and ileal carcinoids with metastatic disease in the mesenteric regional lymph nodes with mesenteric, mesenteric fibrosis and luminal nodular formations that are suggestive of polypoid/nodular carcinoids of the mucosa/submucosa.

Updates to Study Attributes
CT scan shows a coarsely calcified and spiculated mass in the mesentery adjacent to a thickened segment of small bowel, with retraction and stranding of the mesentery. Spoke-wheel arangementarrangement of local mesenteric vassels are also noticed.
There are some nodular formations that projects into the lumen of the proximal tchickened intestinallthickened intestinal segment.
There is no evidence of liver metastasis.
