Incompressible, varicose, epifascial vein with internal echoes associated with significant increase in echogenicity of surrounding fat planes. They are branches and parts of the great saphenous vein.
Deep venous thrombosis was excluded (not shown).

Superficial thrombophlebitis, also called superficial venous thrombosis, is a pathological condition characterized by the presence of a thrombus in the lumen of a superficial vein, accompanied by inflammatory reaction of your wall and adjacent tissues
