Depends where you work. We make reasonable efforts to track the patient and note our efforts on the PacsPACS. If our efforts are unsuccessful we notify the referring MD by letter an difand if the BiradsBIRADS 0 is still there after 6 months we make an addendum to the report to say just what transpired. Don't just leave your BiradsBIRADS 0 uncompleted. Its poor medicine and a legal hazard.
