Presentation

Left knee chronic pain and swelling.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Male

Left knee joint moderate fusion with multi-focal mass-like synovial proliferation. These proliferations show post-contrast enhancement and some show T2* GRE blooming artifact.

Case Discussion

The overall features are suggestive of benign-appearing growth of left knee synovium most likely diffuse tenosynovial giant cell tumor, previous called pigmented villonodular synovitis
