Age: 35 years

Dilatation of central canal of the spinal cord is seen in conus medullaris and lower thoracic cord measuring ~ 3.2 mm in maximum thickness and 40 mm in length.

L5 vertebra appears transitional with sacralization of L5.

Concentric bulge, posterocentral protrusion of L3-4 disc is seen with mild facetal arthropathy, mildly compressing thecal sac and bilateral neural foramina. 

Concentric bulge of L4-5 disc is seen with facetal arthropathy, indenting thecal sac and mildly compressing bilateral neural foramina.

Note is made of bulky uterus with thickened junctional zone and mild free fluid in pelvis, likely adenomyosis.

Case Discussion

Dilatation of central canal of the spinal cord conus medullaris and lower thoracic cord consistent with ventriculus terminalis.
