The left vertebral artery is elongated and tortuous showing a large peripherally thrombosed and centrally patent aneurysm.
There is a compressive effect on the brain stem.
No proximal hydrocephalus.
The right vertebral artery appears unremarkable.
Mucoperiosteal thickening of all para-nasal sinuses.
Case Discussion
The features are consistent with a giant aneurysm of the left vertebral artery.
