Non-specific abdominal pain.

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female

  • enlarged liver measuring approximately 20 cm

  • elongated left lobe of the liver extending across the midline to the left hypochondrium and lying in close contact with the spleen

  • status post cholecystectomy

Case Discussion

CT scan findings are consistent with beaver tail liver, also known as sliver of liver (variant of hepatic morphology).
