Presentation

Left breast pain.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Female
mammography

Multiple various sizes, round and oval, central lucent calcified lesions, resembling eggshell appearance seen scattered throughout right breast and retro areolar region of left breast.

Benign vascular calcifications along vessel walls in both breasts. 

Case Discussion

Oil cysts refer to benign breast lesions (BI-RADS 2) where an area of focal fat necrosis becomes walled off by fibrous tissue.
