Chief complaints: fall on stairs with twisting of the right ankle. Clinical examination: gross edema of the right ankle.

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

Right calcaneum comminuted fracture is noted

Severe soft tissue swelling is noted around the right ankle

x-ray

The Bohler's angle is about 11.29 ° less than normal

The Gissane angle is 105 ° less than normal

Case Discussion

The normal value for the Böhler angle is between 25° and 40°

The normal Gissane angle is usually between 120° and 145°
