Excessive calcifications of the infraspinatus muscle tendon.
Case Discussion
Calcific tendinitis of the infraspinatus tendon is uncommon. Supraspinatus tendon is the commonest site for calcific tendinitis of the rotator cuff ~80%. It is formed by the deposition of hydroxyapatite crystals.
