An intra-ventricular cyst is present in the midline, which bulges into the posterior body of the lateral ventricles. The content of the lesion follows the signal of CSF in all sequences. There are no solid components. No calcification. There are no enhancing components.
The occipital and temporal horns of the lateral ventricles are slightly prominent.
Mucoperiosteal thickening of bilateral ethmoidal and maxillary as well as right sphenoid sinuses.
Case Discussion
The features suggest a cavum velum interpositum cyst.
