Transverse plane ultrasound clip shows flowing particles within colloid cyst in the right lobe of the thyroid.
Case Discussion
As part of the endocrine examination of a middle-aged female patient we performed thyroid sonography. We found a colloid cyst in the right lobe of the enlarged thyroid gland. Placing the transducer on the lesion, the colloid particules started flowing within the cyst, as we can see it on the images.
