Gender: Female

Undisplaced transverse distal radius fracture appears to extend to the distal radioulnar joint. Pronator quadratus fat pad sign positive (is bowed).

Case Discussion

An obliterated, bowed or displaced pronator quadratus fat pad is a sign of a distal radius fracture.
