The liver is of normal size and echogenicity. It measures 143mm.

Irregular subcapsular echogenic lesion noted in left lobe segment 2. No central scar or intralesional calcification. No vascularity.

Adjacent to the falciform ligament in segments 4b and 3 is a geographic region of (compared to background liver) high T2 signal, high T1 IP signal with marked low T1 OOP signal. Epigastric/paraumbilical veins appear to drain in segment 4b. Remainder of the liver parenchyma returns normal signal. Smooth contours. No suspicious focal hepatic mass.
